Physician

Dr. Kurt Mueller grew up in the Athens-area and graduated from the University of Georgia Honors College and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he was honored with the John F. Beard Award, presented to one student across the health sciences campus for outstanding compassionate care, and the Physician’s Physician Award, selected by his graduating class as the person they would most trust as their own physician. He completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, then pursued additional fellowship training in Rhinology & Skull Base Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine. He treats a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions in the adult and pediatric population, but has particular interest in diseases of the nose, sinuses, and anterior skull base. Outside of work, Dr. Mueller enjoys traveling with his partner, Gabi, playing golf, and taking in the Athens live music scene.
