In addition to her staff position at ENT of Athens, Dr. Katz is also an Assistant Clinical Professor with the MCG\/UGA Medical Partnership in the Department of Otolaryngology. She enjoys treating both pediatric and adult patients with diseases of the head and neck, including sleep disorders, nasal and sinus problems, salivary gland disease, head and neck cancer, voice and swallowing problems, thyroid and parathyroid disease, and hearing and dizziness problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Katz grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in 2008. She performed her internship and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University, and then was happy to join ENT of Athens in 2013. She is the proud mother of a daughter and son. Her husband, Dr. David Katz, is a hand surgeon with the Athens Orthopedic Clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
