ENT of Athens is committed to your health and safety as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread. We are monitoring the CDC and WHO websites and taking all necessary precautions.
The current situation is very fluid and changing hour to hour. Patients are encouraged to check the following resources for up-to-date information on COVID-19, including how to best keep yourself safe and what you should do if you suspect that either you or a family member may have fallen ill with this virus.
Georgia COVID 19 Liability Law: Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19. You are assuming this risk by entering these premises.

At this time, ENT of Athens is operating on a normal schedule and continuing to care for patients in our community. Therefore, it is safe and appropriate for patients, especially new patients and those with critical needs, to keep their appointments for office visits and surgery as long as they have not:
- Had a fever, cough or cold/flu like symptoms, or symptoms of lower respiratory illness (e.g., cough or shortness of breath)
- Been exposed to someone that has been diagnosed with coronavirus or someone that has had contact with anyone under quarantine for the virus
- Recently traveled outside of the United States or been exposed to anyone returning from outside of the United States
Please note, for the health and safety of our patients, their family members and our staff, we are encouraging our established patients to utilize our expanded telemedicine services if/when possible, in lieu of on-site treatment at this time. To request to have your in-office appointment changed to a telemedicine appointment, please contact us at (706) 546-7908 or by emailing us at entofathens@entofathens.com. We will be regularly checking voicemail and email to accommodate these requests as quickly as possible.
We will continue to update our website with any changes to these policies. We appreciate your patience during this time.
